All goods are hired subject to our standard terms and conditions All Prices are subject to change without notice.

Deliveries

• Payment No cash on delivery
• Payment by bank Transfer or credit card over the phone PRIOR to delivery
• This fee is non-refundable, but may be transferred to another date, if Bathurst party & events hire has been given sufficient notice.
• For weekend functions, deliveries are usually made Thursday/Friday. Pick up is Monday/Tuesday.
• For mid-week functions please arrange times and days with one of our staff.
• If your function is out of hours or on public holidays, we can still cater for your needs, but extra charges may apply…. please speak to our staff to assist you.
• Copy of driver’s licence or photo ID will be taken on pick or delivery

Picking Up

• Minimum $50.00 refundable bond is to be paid when picking up goods from our store.
• The cost of the bond depending on size of the Order
• When items are returned clean and without damage, the bond is refunded in the same way it was paid.
• Copy of driver’s licence or photo ID will be taken on pick or delivery

Refundable Bond

• The cost of the refundable bond depending on size of the Order
• When items are returned clean and without damage, the bond is refunded
• Copy of driver’s licence or photo ID will be taken on pick or delivery

Payment

• We usually require a 50% non-refundable deposit to secure a booking.
• Balance is to be paid prior to pick up or Delivery.
• All order must be paid in full (2) weeks before Your event.
• Payments are credit card/direct transfer PRIOR to pick up or delivery.
• if any invoices are not paid the item will not be delivered on the day of delivery

Payment Arrangements

• All Payment Arrangements must be paid in full (2) weeks before Your event.

Cancellations

In the event of cancellation by the hirer the following applies:

• In excess of two (2) weeks’ notice prior to the event, the booking deposit (50%) is non-refundable but may be transferred to a rescheduled function.
• Less than two (2) weeks’ notice but more than 48 hours prior to the pickup date, 50% of the total charges are payable.
• Cancellation less than 48 hours to pick up date, total charges are payable.

Abusive violent or dangerous customers

All jobs can be canceled immediately if the client or customer comes abusive violent or dangerous to any staff of Bathurst Party & Events Hire, if Bathurst Party & Events Hire believes that the client is going to damage or wrecked their equipment. The items can be picked up immediately. Bathurst Party & Events Hire has the right to contact the police and file a police report about the client’s behavior no refund of money will be given back to the client, client loses the money they have paid towards the job due to behave abuse, violence, or damage.

Bathurst Party & Events Hire has the right to cancel the job if they believe their safety or staff safety at risk due to client becoming abusive violent, etc. this can be on the telephone text in person or by email Bathurst Party & Events Hire will not be responsible for your event, not going ahead.

At Bathurst Party & Events Hire our staff and equipment comes first and we will not be putting any of our staff or equipment in any violent or dangerous situations

Cleaning, Breakage & Losses

• All crockery, glassware, catering equipment, carpets etc are to be returned clean and dry.
• A bond is charged with these items and is refunded if no breakage/damage has occurred, and items have been returned clean and dry.
• All breakages and losses must be paid for by the hirer. If you have a bond, then the losses are taken from that. If the fee exceeds the bond charged, the hirer is required to pay the balance.
